We added GPS support in version 1.6.

It's nice to know that the GPS option functions outdoors with the SO version. I may have to test this soon myself, although I believe I need to upgrade to have a new enough version that supports GPS first.

As much as we'd like to support both Mac and Linux, we have no plans to make VisiWave available on those platforms.
