There are two main limitations. One is that the trial version will expire after 30 days. The other is VisiWave slightly randomizes the data that you collect so you can't rely on the output of the trial version.

However, all features of the product are fully available to you in the eval version.

Experienced problem in 2.0.9 where Continuous Capture Survey would stop as soon as I clicked on my starting location with Wireless signal and Spectrum capture turned on. This update seems to have fixed that problem - I am now able to choose my startling location and the survey continues to capture.

VisiWave's eval download comes with a Quick Start Guide that gives step-by-step instructions on getting started with VisiWave. And we also provide video tutorials on our website under the Tutorials link.

Yes, you can extend the trial. I will email you instructions. The current price of the Wi-Spy DBx device can be viewed by clicking on the Purchase link on any page of our website. Note that the Wi-Spy device can only be sold as a bundle with VisiWave outside of the US.

It's nice to know that the GPS option functions outdoors with the SO version. I may have to test this soon myself, although I believe I need to upgrade to have a new enough version that supports GPS first.
