VisiWave CheckAdapter
VisiWave CheckAdapter is a free utility for testing the compatibility of your wireless hardware with VisiWave Site Survey. Using this utility, you can simply and easily determine if your wireless adapter is supported on a Pocket PC handheld or Windows laptop computer.

Two versions of CheckAdapter exist: one for Pocket PC handheld computers and one for Windows laptop computers. Download the version for the platform you intend to use for performing surveys. The laptop version installs directly on your laptop. The Pocket PC version's installation runs on a Windows laptop or desktop PC that you use to synchronize with your Pocket PC. The installation routine uses Microsoft ActiveSync to transfer and install CheckAdapter on your Pocket PC.
The laptop version supports Windows 2000/XP. The Pocket PC version supports Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003.
Supported Adapters
Presented here is a partial list of the wireless adapters that are supported by VisiWave Site Survey. The list is always growing and just because your adapter isn't listed here, doesn't mean it won't work with VisiWave. Download our CheckAdapter application to test out your wireless adapter. Please post your results to VisiWave to help grow this list.
If your wireless adapter isn't working, make sure you are running with recent drivers from your laptop or handheld manufacturer or from the wireless adapter manufacturer.
VisiWave requires Windows XP/Vista or Windows Mobile 2003/2005 for all wireless adapters except the Orinoco Classic 8410-wd which is the only adapter supported under Windows 2000 or Pocket PC 2002.
