Now VisiWave Site Survey has full support for collecting and mapping radio interference using a 2.4GHz spectrum analyzer. The Wi-Spy™ spectrum analyzer, a USB 1.1 device available from MetaGeek LLC, supplies details of the radio frequency disturbances found in the 802.11b/g radio spectrum. Just plug the USB device into your laptop and begin collecting spectrum data using VisiWave Site Survey. Then create detailed interference maps using VisiWave Site Survey Report as easily as any other wireless coverage maps.

The Wi-Spy device is not included with VisiWave Site Survey, but is available for purchase directly from the MetaGeek website. The Wi-Spy device is currently not supported on Pocket PC handheld computers so this only works with the laptop versions of VisiWave Site Survey.
